Le Parc National des Pyrénées

You will be able to discover many lakes (only 15 minutes by car) , exceptional fauna and flora thanks to the closeness of the National Park in the valley du Tech and valley of Estaing.

Experienced hikers will be satisfied since the Balaïtous, which is the highest peak of this area, is formed on its glacier and stands at an altitude of 3144m at the rear of the valley.

The "Maisons du Parc national des Pyrénées" info centers  welcome you all year round at Arrens-Marsous in the Val d'Azun, Gavarnie, Luz and Cauterets. In July and August, also an information point at the Plan d'Aste in Val d'Azun. A one-hour walk punctuated by interpretation panels around the water, the rock or the forest, to be discovered with the whole family.
